About CertiDrone
CertiDrone prepares you for the exams behind drone pilot certification in Canada. Not by having you memorise answers, but by having you understand the material: you pass the exam, and you still know what to do six months later, in flight.
Why this site exists
CertiDrone was born from an exam narrowly failed. The material used to prepare for it summarised; the exam asked for understanding. We built the opposite: every notion goes to the depth the syllabus demands, every question is explained, and nothing rests on short-term memory.

A learning path that takes you notion by notion, mock exams in the real format, a glossary of the acronyms you need, and a page for each knowledge area. Preparation for basic certification is free.
How our questions are written
Every question is original, written from the official Canadian documentation, verified, then paired with its explanation. When a rule changes, the content follows.
Where we are going
Preparation for basic operations is shipped. Advanced operations follow, then the other certifications, one at a time: a method is proven on one path before it spreads. The ambition: to become the Canadian reference for drone pilot certification exam preparation, and for those who follow it to be competent pilots, not merely successful candidates. Individuals first, organisations next.
